The detonator charges need to exist placed on the ship to work, which means yous and Tonn volition need to swim to it. The surface area is infested with Risen Mines (that tin't exist targeted and continuously explode without disappearing), Risen Sharks, and Risen Krait. If you're careful, you can avert all the mines and enemies on the way to the send. Articulate out the Risen Sharks from beneath the ship; these need to exist eliminated before Tonn tin can plant the bombs. Afterwards he's washed, swim dorsum to the island you started on.
The detonator indicates that there'south some trouble with the explosives, so Tonn swims dorsum to the bone ship to fix them. Meanwhile, krait (live ones, not Risen) assault your position on the island. Later defending against a few waves, the detonator indicates that the bombs are prepare, so interact with information technology. A cutscene plays showing the ship bravado upward. Dialogue [edit]
Budgeted Tonn (cinematic):
- <Grapheme name>: Set when y'all are, Tonn. After all we went through to get this, I can't wait to meet it explode.
- Demolitionist Tonn: And then yous're in for a care for. We have an unobstructed view of the target from here. At present, we simply need to plant the bomb, get clear, and flip the switch.
- Demolitionist Tonn: Not that simple means piece of cake. Floating mines environment the send, the waters are thick with undead sharks, and we're in krait territory.
- Demolitionist Tonn: These Pact soldiers are here to help protect the detonator, but yous and I all the same have to do all the heavy lifting.
- Demolitionist Tonn: Or to be authentic, the heavy swimming. Allow's hit the water. The sooner we're done splashing effectually, the sooner we run across that bone transport become blast.
Speaking to Crusader Gilley:
- Crusader Gilley: Don't worry about the detonator. Nosotros'll go on this area secure. You just make sure the payload gets to the target.
- Count on it. We're not leaving until that ship goes down.
Speaking to Tonn:
- Demolitionist Tonn: This is it, partner. We sink the bone ship, cover ourselves in glory, then I motility on to the next target and you move on to more commander-blazon stuff. Pitiful, really: we make a great team.
-
- I'yard all ears. Aw, come on. That'south worth at least a grin. I should get a gold star for keeping it in reserve as long as I did. Anyhow, what'southward your research?
-
- It's pretty straightforward. You and I swim out and plant the charges. Then we come back hither to the detonator, flip the switch and bim-bam-boom! No more bone ship.
- I have another question.
- All right. Permit's hitting the water.
I'd like to go over the mission. -
- Information technology'southward a devastating warship, a veritable symbol of Zhaitan's nautical dominance. Sinking information technology isn't merely tactically vital; information technology'll heave our side'due south morale!
- I have another question.
- And then permit's sink it.
Why is the bone ship so dangerous? - Okay, I'm ready. Let'due south go.
I have a question before we start. - It's been a pleasure, Tonn. Now allow'southward do this.
Later on the explosives are ready:
- Demolitionist Tonn: Payload delivered. Now permit's paddle ourselves outta here, on the double.
When returning to the detonator (cinematic):
- Demolitionist Tonn: Hold onto your ears everyone. This is going to exist my masterpiece...expect, something'southward wrong.
- Demolitionist Tonn: The detonator is showing red. The connections were perfect. Something must be knocked out of position.
- Crusader Gilley: Sir! Nosotros take krait inbound. Closing fast, and they look like they mean business organization.
- Demolitionist Tonn: All right, I'll reset the charges on the ship, yous keep the krait off the detonator.
- <Character name>: I don't like leaving you unprotected. Between the krait and the sharks...
- Demolitionist Tonn: I tin handle the cartilaginous cretins that are still out there, and the krait are focused on this position. They won't even notice me.
- Demolitionist Tonn: That ship has to go down. I'll signal when the bomb is ready and I'1000 articulate. When the detonator goes dark-green, throw the switch and enjoy the bear witness.
After defeating the krait:
- Crusader Gilley: There'southward the indicate! We tin can't hold this position much longer. Fix off the charges. Now!
Later detonating the charges (in-game cut scene):
- Crusader Gilley: Tonn should've been back by now. Allow's swim out in that location and meet, if we can spot him.
Pond back (in-game cut scene):
- Crusader Gilley: I encounter something...by the gods, it'due south Tonn! He's dead.
- Crusader Gilley: I was sure he signaled united states. Was the explosion bigger than he expected?
- Crusader Gilley: We take to report this. Y'all caput back to shore. I'll bring in Tonn.
Speaking to Crusader Gilley:
- Crusader Gilley: What happened, Commander? We had the go-ahead betoken. I saw it. You saw it. Past the gods, why would Tonn sacrifice himself like that?
-
- This is a huge loss for the Pact. Tonn was the best demolitionist we had. When he wasn't coming up with new explosives, he was coming up with new ways to utilize them.
-
- Of course. I'll send a bulletin right away. Maybe we can get by on Tonn'southward completed piece of work, but that won't terminal forever. We'll need to arrange our plans.
-
- Dwayna's mercy, you're right. Tonn ever checked in with Ceera after large missions. She's...waiting to hear from him.
-
- Give thanks you, Commander. I don't envy what you're about to do. Tell her Tonn died a hero. Information technology won't soften the news, but it may help her cope in the long run.
- Thanks. I'll do my best.
Tonn was my partner. I'll exercise it. I'll inform Ceera.
True. And we'll need to inform his married woman.
Trahearne needs to exist informed of this.
Information technology must have been the merely fashion to complete the mission.
Notes [edit]
- It is not possible to save Tonn, you tin can follow him and permit the krait defeat your allies past the switch (the krait won't accept/tamper with the switch itself), simply Tonn but swims out a means and waits at the betoken where yous'll notice his trunk later (instead of heading to the ship to check on the charges like he said he would). Returning to the island, defeating the krait waves, and using the switch (when it turns green, fifty-fifty though no krait will come after that, and Tonn is still passively waiting there, nowhere near the transport) is the only mode to progress the story.
