ONE night stand. What do you think that means? You answered your own question. A one night stand is a ONE night thing. On rare occassions, a guy will call a girl he had a one night stand to meet up again, also known as a booty call. On VERY rare occassions, a guy will actually develop good interests for a girl he had a one night stand with. In other words,every situation is different, but I agree with AltTech. It's true, very few guys will take a girl seriously after a one nightstand. Why? Because most of the time, one night stand girls aren't relationship material. Guys like a challenge.

it is called a ONE night stand for a purpose. You're with the person for ONE night. You most definitley shouldn't expect a phone call. You most likely didn't do anything wrong. For all you know you could have been a ton of fun he just took it as one night and so should you. If you were to get a phone call or a text then that's great. But other then that for future one nighters make the assumption that it is indeed only one night.

I don't think one really needs to call after a one night stand, if there is a sense of attraction then it will show within the night, if there is not then it is not wise to wait, best is to look for another one. Yes. Most, but not all men on the prowl for you for only one evening only want a one-time deal. That wouldn't be me. If we were to slip up, I'd be certain to contact you again somehow, even if only to make sure you're okay. I cannot justify one night stands due to the "one night" part. It makes it too cheap.

Its probably just a case of not being compatible with the guy although if he were a decent person he would have let you know that he doesn't want to see you again. If you're going to do the one night stand thing you have to appreciate it. for what it is. If you want calls then maybe get to know him a bit first?

Guys who have a one night stand generally are only interested in the sexual encounter of that night and have no reason to call again as they're not pursuing anything more, that's why it's called a on night stand.

Accept that it's a one night stand. no string attached, no further involvements and no obligations. they don't usually call because the girls will start to get clingy and attached, which is the last thing they want.

I've had a few one night stands that didn't involve going all the way, and all but one of them called me after. I really h ave no idea why. Maybe it was because I didn't go all the way, but It's only happened once that a guy didn't get in touch with me after (and even he asked my friends about me later).

For the most part it was just sex. Some guys think because, you did that with them, you do it with everyone. Double standard. I know.
I do know of some people that actually married their "one night stand". This is not common though
